Jane (as she was known to all) married Charles Burton on July 31, 1948. They shared almost 46 years of marriage prior to his passing on July 6, 1994.
Jane was a nurse for over 55 years she last worked at The Forum at Desert Harbor. Her love for nursing was evident, as she did not retire until she was 80 years old!
Jane was the Queen of the Red Hats in Glendale and enjoyed coloring. She believed in living life to its fullest and would often remind you by saying “use all the colors in your crayon box”.
Jane is survived by four children Saundra Lynne (Jerry) Ortman, Carletta Jane Cliffton, Connie Jeane Burton & Ronnie Wayne (Brenda) Burton, 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren & 4 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, her twelve siblings preceded her in death.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Jane’s life on Friday, September 20, 2024 beginning at 1PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale.
