She earned her Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University, a milestone that marked her deep dedication to learning and to her beloved alma mater. A die-hard ASU football fan, Patricia was never to be disturbed during a game — a tradition her family lovingly respected.

Markiw, his wife Pam, and their son Ian; her daughter, Debra Miles, her partner Brandon Bock and her daughter Alannah Goetzenberger, her partner Jordan Romo and her nephew, Shawn Maxwell. She was a steadfast and loving presence in all their lives, always ready to lend a hand, offer advice, or simply listen.
A passionate supporter of charitable causes, Patricia gave freely of her time and resources, particularly to organizations supporting animals and local rescues. Over the years, her home was filled with the love of many adopted animal companions who brought her great joy.
Her strength, selflessness, and warmth will be remembered by all who knew her.
