On Wednesday, April 4, 2018 with family at his side, Raymond Lucero was called home to be with the Lord. Raymond was born in Gallup, New Mexico on June 16, 1926 to Antonio and Daniela Lucero. Raymond is proceeded in death by both his parents, the love of his life of 71 years Camila Lucero, brothers Tony and Nick, sisters Virginia, Geneva and Emma. Raymond leaves behind daughters Patsy Thompson, Flora (Danny) Bowen and son Louie (Gloria) Lucero, 14 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. Raymond’s Catholic school up bringing is where his strong belief and faith began and continued throughout his 92 years of life. His humorous spirit and funny faces he would make will be so greatly missed. The family would like to thank the Jolley Family Assisted Living Home for the excellent care they took of Raymond. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 5:00-8:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary in Glendale, AZ. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Louis the King Catholic Church and Committal service will be held at 12:00pm at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery with Military honors for his dedication in the Army during WWII.
