88 of Glendale, AZ, passed away on November 6, 2013. He was born Feb. 20, 1927 in Dodge Center, MN. Raymond was a proud father of seven and preceded in death by his wife Mary and son Dennis. He is survived by his six adult children: Dean (Pat), Duane (Karen), Denise, Debra Wallace (Mike Hodges), Deanne Eisen (Jon), and Douglas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Ray served in the Army in 1945-46 and Army Reserve from 1955-58. Ray's career path varied over the years from working as a baker in the Army and after, to becoming a master craftsman of cabinetry and major construction as a general contractor, building homes, apartments, and light commercial. Ray was very involved with Elks Lodge #2729 of West Phoenix where he was PER. He was also involved with American Legion Post 29 in Glendale. Many thanks to Sally Johnson and Hospice of AZ. Services are set for Thursday Nov. 14 at 9 AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home with burial to follow at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
