Richard N. Coffin

He was born in Detroit, MI on June 23, 1938 to the late Paul and Leona Coffin. He moved to Arizona early in life and spent his life here and Southern California where he met Barbara.

Richard was an owner/operator of Checker Pump & Motor for 20 years.

He loved the outdoors and took great pride in his yard and garden. He also shared a passion for horse racing that he shared with his wife.

He is survived by his wife Barbara, two daughters Denise Szewc & Lorena Baker, three siblings Gerald Coffin, Lenora Lonon & Roxie Branch, four grandchildren Amy, Sarah, Cori & Garrett, six great grandsons Austin, Matthew, Jonathan, Isaiah, Jaden & Kalen and his beloved dog Shiloh.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 11-12noon at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale; funeral services will begin at 12noon.
