He was born on June 16, 1931 in Phoenix to the late Roy and Evelyn Grittman.
Richard is survived by his wife JoAnn, three children Janet (Richard), Rick (Veronica) & Ron (Cecilia), two sisters Glenda (Jim) & Donna, eight grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, March 25, 2016 from 1-2PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Services will begin at 2PM; burial with military honors will follow in Resthaven Park Cemetery.
