Ronald Wayne Lively

Both of Ron’s parents and his sister Shelia Lively are deceased.

Ron is survived by his daughter Larra Jo Lively, his granddaughter Parker Rayne South, his half-brother Harold Vickers, half-brother Robbie Lively and half-sister Jean Lively Rusk along with many Nieces and Nephews.

Throughout Ron's life, he was a fisherman who was a skipper on longliners and crab boats in the state of Alaska. Ron retired from Crowley after about 14 years of working as a Tugboat Engineer for the company.

As a young man Ron traveled from coast to coast by car visiting various sites and his friends that he met in college. Later in his life Ron had his vacation spots in Thailand and Mexico. Ron seemed to make friends wherever he went. Ron was a good friend, caring brother and father.

Ron will be missed by all his family and friends.

Ron's celebration of life will be held in Brookings Oregon at Wild River Pizza September 28th, 2024 at 2 pm. For those interested there will be a small burying of his ashes at his family plot near Pistol River Oregon prior to his celebration of life.
