Ruth C. Jones

93 of Phoenix, passed away at home on June 28, 2013 with her family at her side. She was born in Greensburg, KY in 1920 to Claude and Lois Milby. Ruth and Charles Jones were married for over 60 years until he preceded her in death in 1998. They both were members of First Southern Baptist Church of Glendale (The Church at Saguaro Ranch) and also Arrowhead Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter Joann Payne-Walsh; son Donnie Wayne Jones; six grandchildren David Allen Payne, Tracy Rena Raymond, Kelly Ann Cotter, Tina Marie Fryrear, Rebecca Ruth Grochowski, Charles Bradford Jones, Elizabeth Elaine Jones; three great-grandchildren Jessica Marie Payne, Wyatt Harrison Raymond, Drew Allen Raymond; two great-great-grandchildren Emma Ruth Grochowski and Madison Rae Payne Blomquist; brothers H.C. Milby, and Charles Edward Milby; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Thelma Marie Fryrear; sisters Ruby Doris Pierce and Mary Lois O'Neal; brothers Leon Milby, Allen Milby, Jimmy Milby, and Vernon Milby. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 5th at 1pm at West Resthaven Funeral Home with interment to follow at West Resthaven Cemetery.
