Sam Ramirez

Sam passed away peacefully at home with his wife Rosemary by his side, who loved and cared for him with all her heart during their 53 years of marriage.

Sam enjoyed his life to the fullest. He loved camping and hunting with family and friends. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends & drinking beers. Most of all he loved & was dedicated to his family. Being a good provider, helping them with anything they needed. He was always there for them until the end. He was there for all the birthday parties, all the celebrations or just having bbq’s in the backyard, playing horseshoes, playing with the great grandkids & watching football, enjoying life’s simple things. Everyone especially enjoyed Fathers Day and his birthday when he would make his famous tripas and hot salsa.

Sam is survived by his beautiful family, his wife Rosemary, children Sammy Ramirez (Terry), Jimmy Ramirez, Adam Ramirez (Anita) and Molly Guevera (Rey), 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Charlie & his wife Anna have blessed him with a great great grandson that is on the way. He is also survived by his sisters, Donna Sue, Mary Ellen, Linda & his brother Victor.

Sam is preceded in death by his daughter Megan, grandchildren Georgianne and Jimmy Jr, parents Eliseo Ramirez & Pauline Fuentes, sisters Angie Campos & Margaret Nelson.

Our beloved Sam, enjoy your new birthday and new life in our Heavenly Father’s God Kingdom. We are very happy for you. You will be deeply missed.

We love you forever, until we meet again.

A memorial service will be held at West Resthaven Funeral Home, located at 6450 West Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, on December 23, 2025, at 11:00 am.

Following the memorial service, a placement service will take place at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, at 12:00 pm.
