On the third anniversary of her passing, I know how happy she would be to see (and maybe she can) her new great twin grandsons. 

I was fortunate to meet Stella when I arrived to Kirksville Missouri as a new bride.  She not only taught me the how to's to  care for my first child that was born there but made me into the woman I am today.
She was my friend, my sister, my love.

As we remember the first anniversary of her passing, Stella’s sons Michael, Joseph, Richard and Robert will always be so grateful that we had such a wonderful Mom. We will finally be able to celebrate her life on May 22nd in Phoenix. 

Stella and I worked at Good  Samaritan Hospital  where  she taught me to help with stereotactic breast biopsies in Radiology. Such a caring and compassionate woman! I learned a lot from her 😊. And she will be greatly missed.

Stella was the first person I met in Kirksville Missouri, in 1960, I was a new bride and she took my husband, Shelly and me into her home and became a sister to me.  She taught me  everything I knew,  My first pregnancy, my first baby, my first meal. I loved her with all my heart.

Stella was a joyful presence in her home at Park Terrace.  She was one of our first residents, moving here in early 2017.   Stella  starred in our first website video (which can still be viewed on the landing page at www.parkterraceseniorliving.com).  Stella always had a smile on her face with a kind word to brighten another persons day.  She possessed a wonderful attitude about her life and the lives of everyone she came in contact with.

We miss her already.

The first day I met Stella's son Michael, and I introduced him to my mom, Mike said "oh we need to get you together with Stella". Well, that led to a friendship of both my mom and Stella, and both families , even continuing after my moms passing a few years back. Stella was a fun loving, enjoyable person to be around, and we will miss her dearly . I will try to include my favorite picture of me and her, as I ran into her at Albertsons, shopping with her black eye(never asked how she got it). Rest In Peace Stella,
