Thomas Louis Buranich

He was born in Youngstown,Ohio on September 22, 1948. Thomas graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in 1966. He was married to Marilyn Payne Setzekorn on October 10, 1975. Thomas served in the U.S. Air Force from 1970 to 1974. Thomas had a career in heating & Air conditioning/HVAC and retired from The City of Phoenix in 2007.

He had a passion for classic cars and restoring his 1930 Model A. He was also an active builder, building 2 apartment complexes and many home addition/remodels. He was considered a “Jack of all trades” with heating and Air Conditioning being his main trade. Thomas enjoyed many vacations to Hawaii and trips to the Casino’s. Thomas love his Arizona sports teams and especially the Arizona Cardinals. He was a dedicated Family man, loving, protective, and giving. He was funny and kind to all that met him.

Thomas was preceded in death by parents Louis J. Buranich II and Dorothy A. Buranich. He is survived by brother Louis (Vickie) Buranich, wife Marilyn Buranich, daughter Tina (Brian) Lucke, daughter Donna (Greg) Krahn, son Jeff (Melissa) Buranich, grandson Allen Krahn, grandson Daniel Krahn, grandson Tyler Lucke, grandson Gabe Buranich, grandson Thomas Krahn, granddaughter Abbie Buranich, step-granddaughter Sabrina Chavez, great-grandson Jeremiah Buranich.
