Thomas Frank Delong Jr.

He was born on March 27,1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Thomas Frank, Sr. and Olga (Schnick) DeLong. Thomas married Mary Guanella on June 3,1972 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He worked at Trane Company in Tennessee from 1971-1985. He then transferred employment to Auto Zone in 1986 and remained with them until 2013 upon retirement. They moved to Glendale, AZ in 1993.

Thomas enjoyed hiking in The White Tank Mountains and reading. He enjoyed reading westerns and stories located in New Orleans. He enjoyed yardwork with keeping his plants healthy.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Mary and 7 brother and sister in laws: Dorothy Guanella, Richard (Ann) Guanella, Rosemarie (Jorge) Santana, Gregory (Carol) Guanella, Catherine (Richard) Sanborn, Barbara Wiemann and Gerald (Donna) Guanella. Also survived by his cousins: Susan Schnick, Steven (Terry) Mack, Linda (Richard) Strehlow and David (Janet) Schnick; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be at a later date in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Hospice of the Valley, Phoenix, AZ.

Tom's wife, Mary would like to give a special thank you to all the staff of the Hospice of the Valley. They were so kind, thoughtful, helpful and respectful of Tom.
