Thomas Miranda

Tommy was such a funny, loving, caring, proud, and resilient man with a love for life. He had a love for music and took any opportunity to share his taste with you. He was smart, witty, outspoken, and his smile was contagious. He had this knack for telling stories and he was good at it. He enjoyed many things such as sports, collecting sports cards, and going to comic shops but what he enjoyed the most was spending time with his grandchildren. His family was his world and his grandchildren were the light in his eyes. They kept him young and brought out the kid in him, for he was a kid at heart. He was the definition of a true “tata”, a title that he wore like a crown.

Thomas “Tommy” is survived by his loving spouse of 36 years and wife of 15 , Stacey Miranda (Mendez); parents, Richard and Norma; brother, Richard Jr.; sisters, Nancy and Monet; daughters, Regina (Kris) and Rebekah (Joell); sons, Roy and Roman; grandchildren, Lyla , Xander, and Isabella in addition to numerous extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gus and Terry Burruel.

Thomas Miranda our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, husband, father, grandfather and friend you are deeply missed and forever in our hearts is where you will be.

we humbly entrust our brothers and sisters.

In this life you embraced them with your tender love;

deliver them now from every evil

and bid them eternal rest.

The old order has passed away:

welcome them into paradise,

where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or pain,

but fullness of peace and joy

with your Son and the Holy Spirit

forever and ever.”

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Avenue, Glendale, Arizona, 85301.
