As he was trying to find a career that suited him with his military background, he found a career with DOC as a correctional office at Lewis Prison in Buckeye. He found the comradery of brotherhood and sisterhood he had experience in his new career as correctional officer at Lewis Prison in Buckeye.
He was a quiet, kindhearted man that was very loyal to everyone who was important to him. He had a great laugh oftentimes surprising others with his quirky sense of humor. He gave the biggest bear hugs that matched his 6-foot 3in size. He enjoyed his 2 pool leagues that he had been on for years and the caption of one. He enjoyed the Oakland Raiders and the Oregon Ducks football team. He enjoyed spending time with those close to him and the occasional night on the town. He enjoyed a variety of foods and could eat more than his fair share. He enjoyed spending time with his mom and dogs at the family home where he was a great help around the house. Tye had a great fashion sense and every May he would find the perfect dress, jewelry and shoes for his mom to wear to San Diego for his brothers Chip’s Pre-Mother’s Day luncheon.
