

Wally was a man of honor and loyalty. He and Betty were married on November 25, 1950. He proudly served in the Korean War, until his honorable discharge. After the war, he was employed by Ralph Eder for his entire career. Wally enjoyed traveling, camping with his family, serving his church, and helping his neighbors with various projects. He will be sincerely missed by family and friends.
Wally is survived by his children David (Cheryl) Wahlberg, Diane (Kevin) Roever, and James (Carissa) Wahlberg, his grandchildren Amanda Wahlberg-Misic, Wesley (Jassi) Wahlberg, Philip (Rebecca) Roever, Kimberly (David) Fritz, Paul (Jessica) Roever, Samuel Wahlberg, and Michael (Madison) Wahlberg, and his great-grandchildren Jayden & Milan Misic, Katelyn & Elizabeth Roever, Riley Fritz, Kylie Fritz, Alexander Roever, and Desmond & Reed Wahlberg.
In addition to his parents, Wally is preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty, his grandson Daniel Roever, and his brothers Ray, Roger, and Rodney Wahlberg.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church beginning at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Grace Lutheran Grade School, or the Wisconsin Lutheran College Betty Wahlberg Music Scholarship.
