Wesley Harold McKisson

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. and Ruby L. McKisson, sisters, Dorothy Ziegler and Charlene Yeates, and son, Kelly McKisson.

Harold was a successful independent insurance agent; he was a co-owner of several independent insurance agencies primarily in the West Valley area. He enjoyed his hometown community in Peoria, Arizona. He was an active member in various organization – Peoria High Noon Kiwanis Club, Peoria Arizona Historical Society, Peoria Nazarene Church, Ironwood Booster Club, Centennial Booster Club, City of Peoria Historic Preservation Commission and the Arizona Independent Insurance Agents Association.

He was always supporting family members in their sports/educational activities and looking for ways to encourage youth – initiated the Peoria Young Artists Festival with the Peoria High Noon Kiwanis Club, a 1912 Living Classroom Experience with the Peoria Arizona Historical Society, worked on sports booklets program for Centennial Booster Club to feature young athletes.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Vicki, daughter Davi-Ann Farmer, (Bill), grandson, Avery Farmer, brother, Don McKisson (Joanne), Brother-in-Law, Max Yeates and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held on March 21st at the Peoria Nazarene Church, 7717 W. Thunderbird Rd, Peoria, Az. 11:00 AM.
