Wilfred Small

Wilfred Herbert Small born April 18, 1922 in Logan WVa to Charles William Small and Mabel Fountain (Vaughn) Small. Preceded in death by parents and two sisters, Lorainne and Leona and wife of 63 years, Victoria Small. Survived by 2 brothers, Deward and Paul Small, of Logan WVA, a sister Joan Kidd of Michigan. 3 daughters, Sharon (Jose) Diaz, Marsha (Jim) Hansen and Laurel (Ken) Watts. 2 sons, Wilfred Jr. and John (Liz) Small. 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.

He served in France and Germany during WWII. While in WVa, he worked for his dad in the family restaurant. After moving out West with his familty, he spent his career working in the grocery business as a store manager in California and Phoenix. Services to be held at Green Acres Funeral Home, 5830 W. Missouri Ave., Glendale. Viewing Friday, Sept.27th from. 10 am to noon, service at Noon, followed by internment at Holy Cross Cemetery, followed by a reception at Long Haven Senior Park @ 5102 W. Camelback Rd.
