Bill and I became friends when we started school at J.B.Sutton and remained good friends and roommates after high school.I have not seen Bill in in many years now,but always knew he was a good man,a kind and caring person to others and a friend you knew "had your back" during our teen years.Bill I will always remember the great times all of us had together esp.the 5.Rest in peace my good friend.

Bill has been a friend for a number of years.  He always had a quick smile- and I don't believe I ever heard a negative thought from him.  I'll miss him.  Robin, our prayers go out to you.

Bill was very special to me, I absolutely adored him. I know that he loved me the same. I always called him "Dad". Many years ago, I learned not to make the mistake of calling his work asking to speak to Bill. He said that it hurt his feelings- I from that day on called him Dad. I know that life without him won't be the same but, we will ALL be together AGAIN one day. I love you DAD & Dax. May your souls rest peacefully.

Bill was my uncle and I have great memories of him, I liked that we shared a lot of the same interests and I also loved Bill's sense of humor and his easy going nature. I will miss him dearly and I really wish I could of spent more time with him..Love you Bill.  Carl Schultz

I remember riding our bikes to Willow Park many times and through out the the neighbor hood. We played on the same ball team as so many have mentioned. Being a little younger than Bill and Rickey and some of the others they let me pal around with them. Maybe so they could pick on me but they protected me from others many times. Marilyn is Bob and Monicas age but she remembers Bill from the pool and being around grade school. We had lost touch over the years but it seems Bill had many good friends from the past and present not to mention a very caring family. Our hearts go out to each and every one of you at this time. Please remember Bill may be gone but he will be with us forever. You will always feel him around. May you all be blessed with having him by your side from time to time. Our prayers are with you.

I also had gotten to know Bill as one of my customers.  He was such a wonderful person, always so cheerful, and would put a smile on your face, no matter how tough your day seemed to be.  I will surely miss talking to you!!!  Rest in peace my dear friend!

We work with Bill's daughter Nikki, and while we did not know Bill personally, we frequently heard from Nikki about how wonderful her family and parents are. He raised an amazing daughter and our thoughts and prayers are with her and your family during this time. -"Camy"

Re: 2 Cor. 5:8. I have always believed that what Paul was saying in this verse and those around it is this. That to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. In other words when we pass from this life in an instant we will be present with God in heaven.

I first knew Bill when I was 8 years old and he was 9. We played at Willow Park. He and my brother Richard were friends and on Crown Vacuum Little League team. In 8th grade Bill, Jerry French, Linda Lewis  and I all hung out and had so much fun.  We went to the swimming pool alot. I have moved away to Utah, but Bill and I got back in touch a few years ago. I was looking forward to a trip back to Arizona to visit all the friends from Carl Hayden, but never made it and now it's too late to get to see Bill again. So sad to hear about Bill.  We have lived in the same neighborhood and our kids went to school together.  We would always see Bill at the Vineyard and want to send our sympathies and blessings as he was such a kind man  with a great big smile.  He will be missed.

Bill was my best friend through school, J.B. Sutton and Carl Hayden. I feel a very deep lose in my life with Bill gone. Everyone in the 'old neighborhood' knew Bill, his sharp wit will be missed. I first met Bill when they moved to their current Peoria home 17 years ago. I quickly became best friends with his daughter Nikki and from there the Carpenters' became my home away from home.  Bill and Robin both treated me as if I was another daughter of their own. I've had love and respect for BIll since I was 9 years old and will never forget the compassion and love I was given in return. I will forever miss him and always cherish the memories I had with him and his amazing family. May he watch over us and smile until the day we see him again.

Uncle Bill... I keep thinking of all the great times we've shared, no matter how much time had passed since I'd seen you last, when I'd see your familiar smile and get a great big hug it was always as though no time had passed at all.  Thank you for all the laughs, all the times you'd get lunch for us girls at CSC & of course sneak a bite just to see our reaction :)  You were an amazing friend Uncle Bill...until we meet again, I love you!

Bill was such a dynamic and exceptional human that he impacted my life although we have only spoken on the the phone one time.  He and Robin have been friends with Mike and Renee Parker for over 30 years.  If you spend any time with Renee you will hear about Bill.  He is a constant and true friend. Always there in time of need and always full of stories and silly comments that bring hysterical laughter.  He loves wholeheartedly and without reserve.  To have known him even through another is a gift.  The world will miss Bill but never forget his warmth, his sense of humor, and most of all his ability to love well.  Thank you Bill for making the love of God seem real through your actions.

Bill and his family were a valuable and special part of our life for a very long time. Nikki being Danielle's best friend brought us all together and then to find out that his bother Bob and my parents were all great friends just cinched the friendship. As I sit here and think of all the wonderful people we have known Bill is definately at the top of the list. He was amazing with Danielle and treated her like another daughter. It was very sad when we all moved around the state but I wish blessings and healing for his family. You are all in our Prayers... Bill lived next door to us. We were so used to seeing him working on his front yard, trimming shrubs and mowing the lawn. When he planted flowers, without fail, he'd share by bringing me half the bedding plants. Every now and then he'd call me by my given name (which most folks don't know) He was funny that way.
He loved eating jalapenos, we would give him some out of our garden. When we didn't have any growing, I would purchase some for him. Come late December he would ask if I was planning to make menudo, every New Year's morning he'd get his menudo. And every year he'd say...."this batch was better than last year"!
He was such a kind and considerate person. Never a complaint out of him.
I will miss seeing him drive away in his little red truck, and seeing him with his cat over his shoulder petting it. He was a "fixture" in our lives.

Bill (Guillermo) as he used to tell me because of my Mexican Heritage was an very charasmatic generous co-worker. I will always remember his good sense of humor and love for spicy mexican food. Bill lived on the street behind my brother Gary and I all threw grade school at J.B.Sutton and were still friends threw high school.We will always remember the good times we all shared with Bill.I know he is with the Lord now.REST IN PEACE.

I first got to know Bill through his best friend at that time, Ricky. I was a year older than they were but we all went to Sutton Elementary. Bill always had a quick smile and probably the most easy going personality of anyone I've ever met. I wish we had kept in touch all these years. I know he would have enriched my life even further. He will be missed. My prayers are with Robin and the rest of Bill's family.

Bill and I started first grade together at JB Sutton and continued on to Carl Hayden High School.  We lost contact but reconnected about 6 years ago through Classmates.com.  He was still such a joy to talk to and it seemed like time had stood still the past 50+ years.  We planned on getting together to reminisce but sadly that never happened.  I know he was so proud of his family and made sure he followed up our first conversation with pictures of him, his wife and granddaughter.  I thoroughly enjoyed getting his emails, jokes and reading his "remarks" on Facebook, which always brought a smile to my face.  I am heartbroken that he is gone but my memories of him will live on forever.  RIP, my dear friend, you will be missed.

Bill and Bob were the first kids I met when we moved to Phx in 1957 from Missouri and have been friends for all these years but after school Bill being younger I lost contact but Bob and I ended up seeing more of each other because of both being in the drywall business, that being said it didn't mean that I forgot about Bill because I always asked how he was doing because we west siders (Falcon's) never forget our friends!!
