William Marion Carugno

Bill is survived by his wife of 47 years Jo Ann, sons and daughter -in-laws, Allen Carugno (Lori), Michael Carugno (Tina); extended family of sisters and brother-in-laws Nancy Sobba (Dennis), Gayle Downs (Robert); sister-in-law and brother-in-law Kay Sedden (Wally), sister-in-law June Johnson, 2 nieces; Trudy Akins and Kelly Lichtenberger, 4 nephews, Bobbie Downs (deceased), Lee, Michael, and Jerry Sobba, one granddaughter, Katie Light, numerous grand nieces and nephews.

Bill was an avid sportsman, excelling in track and wrestling in his early years. While serving 20 years in the USAF, including a tour in Vietnam, he was blessed with opportunities to be near oceans, there by his activities he became focused on water skiing (competition trick skiing) and sailing. His interest and greatest love of sports was motorcycling, i.e., flat track racing, motor cross, trials and especially touring our beautiful country.

We miss him greatly as we loved him very much.

Memorial service is July 11th, 2015, 9:30am at First Southern Baptist Church at Saguaro Ranch, 10250 N 59th Ave., Glendale, AZ, 85302.

Inurnment will be at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ. Date will be determined. Arrangements under the direction of West Resthaven Funeral Home Glendale, AZ.
