Anna Domenica Wheeler

Anna Wheeler, 95, of Los Angeles, CA was recalled to God on March 31, 2026. Anna was born on August 6,1930 in Providence, RI. She was predeceased by husband Homer Wheeler, son Richard Piccirillo, parents Olinda and Concetta Tacelli, siblings Domenic, Benny, and Rose. Beloved mother, Anna, is survived by children David (Nora), Dennis (Maritess), and Dorene, grandchildren Michael, Andrew, Brian, Kevin, and Kyle, and great grandchild Brendon.

She had a long career of over 20 years as Manager at Northeast Newspaper. After retirement, she taught Catechism for 14 years at St. Bernard's Church where she had been a parishioner dating back to 1963. Her strong faith led her to go on pilgrimages with the church. She was involved in starting and running the bingo program at St. Bernard's and member of their Italian Catholic Federation.

She was also the senior citizen president of Glassell Park for several years, on the All Stars bowling league, and knitted beanies for terminally ill children. She was loved by everyone who knew her.

Anna had a beautiful soul which was loving, caring, and strong. Our hearts are broken and she will be greatly missed
