Katherine Elaine Lane

Katherine Elaine Lane was born on May 15, 1940 in Raton, New Mexico to parent Amedeo and Armida Yob. At a young age she moved with her parents and two older brothers to Los Angeles, California, where she would spend the rest of her life. She left this world on September 9, 2022. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia, son Gregory, son-in-law Gagik Babaian and grandson Henrick Babaian, brother Harry Yob and numerous cousins across the country.

Kathy, as she preferred to be called, had a great love of classic movies, true crime stories, German Shephard dogs, and keeping up with her family and friends and perhaps most importantly her faith. As a devout Catholic she prayed the Rosary daily, and had countless Masses said for those who had passed before her.

She will be missed by everyone she knew, as she was always able to brighten anyone’s day.

Kathy had an immense faith in the Catholic religion and was devoted wholeheartedly to the healing and strengthening powers of the Holy Mass. In lieu of flowers and other tributes please have a Mass or Masses said in her honor or for any other loved one or special intention.

The family would like to thank everyone who kept us in their prayers in these last few weeks, it was felt by us all and most importantly by Kathy.
