Born July 14, 1931 and passed away August 26, 2021. Treasured daughter and sister, beloved aunt of 22 nieces and nephews and their children, and loving friend to many.
It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Mary. The way she lived her life was a testament to her deep faith and her love of God, family, and friends. She was a caring heart who never hesitated to reach out to help others. Her outlook on life remained positive even as the years brought declining health and limited her freedom. Throughout she never lost her sense of humor, never wasted time complaining, and always reminded us that the best was yet to come.
She knew where she was going when her work here was done and never wanted us to be sad, using humor to lighten the load by saying that when she got to heaven she’d stick her foot in the door to keep it open for us. And so, we’ll miss her but let her go with love and gratitude for the blessing she was in our lives and knowing that she’ll be waiting for us just on the other side.
Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 23, 2021 at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 133 N. Fifth St., Burbank, CA 91501. Interment to follow at San Fernando Mission Cemetery.
