Victoria - Jimenez

Victoria Jimenez, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on the morning of October 13, 2014. Victoria was a long time resident of Glendale California, and was born in Miami Arizona on December 21, 1920,she was preceded in death by her husband Francisco E. Jimenez and five siblings, bothers Lupe, Pete, Philip, and sisters Antonia and Grace.

Victoria Is survived by her sister Mary Ortega Valles; sons Joe, David, Richard, Javier and daughters Emily and Rita; granddaughters Veronica, Melissa; grandsons Henry, Daniel, Dion, Salvador, Christopher and David Alexander and numerous great grandchildren. Victoria was a homemaker and raised her four sons and two daughters on her own, as well as caring for most of her grandchildren and great grandchildren at some point in their lives. She has several nieces and nephews in Arizona and California

. Mom was loved by all who knew her and loved all those who came into her life. Mom will be missed, but we take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her loved ones who passed before her. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to all her caregivers over the past several years, especially doctors Jerry Wada, and David Sulam and the nurses of Glendale Adventist Hospital, who cared for her the last days of her life.

A memorial service will be held at Dayspring Christian Fellowship, 14320 Nordhoff Avenue Panorama City CA 91204 at 2:00 P.M. Saturday November 8th. Joel L. Jimenez
