Joann Ennette Reyes

Joann Ennette Reyes, born on August 24, 1979, in Brooklyn, New York passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 46, surrounded by family, knowing she was loved. Joann was a cherished and kind-hearted woman who touched the lives of all who knew her. Known for her bravery and resilience, she was beloved by her family and friends.

Joann was a devoted mother to Justin and Kylier, and a beloved sister to Michael Gonzalez. She was also a treasured aunt to Larissa, Lainey, Ethan, Devin, Matthew, Rey Rey, Stephanie, Kam, Mia, Averie, Ava, and many more nieces and nephews. Joann was also a beloved cousin to Katharine, Arlene, and Anthony. Her family was the center of her world, and she will be greatly missed and never replaced.

An adventurous spirit, Joann loved hiking and being outside with nature. She found joy in traveling and always hoped to one day go on a cruise. Her love for the outdoors and her adventurous nature were a testament to her zest for life.

Visitation services will be held at Werst & LaBella Funeral Home, located at 71-41 Cooper Ave, Glendale, NY 11385, on December 29, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and on December 30, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The committal service will take place at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries on December 30, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.

Joann's kind-hearted nature and adventurous spirit will be remembered forever by all who had the privilege to know her.
