I was so honored to be your only sister, John! I looked up to you and was so Proud of you when you stopped drinking 33 years ago. You recently told me how happy you were when I was born and you loved to show me off when I was little! You will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace my friend. The old Mirror days what a blast. Remember you & I going to all the horse tracks. Card games. Card games in the back room of the Mirror. Closing the bar, playing cards in the back room, going home, taking a shower & going to work. Who needed sleep those days. The world was definitely brighter with you in it. Till we meet again my friend.

Being your “little girl” was a blessing. I have so many fond memories. You were always so proud of me & John & you were always there cheering us on. 
As an adult we butted heads a lot & had many disagreements but I always respected you as my father. I’m so proud of all you’ve accomplished in life! The greatest thing was you turning your life around for the better. You’ve always been so kind & caring to everyone you came across. You were also always so funny even with your corny dad jokes. 
You were a terrific grandfather as well, always there for Joe & Matt. I’m sure they will always remember your wisdom & advice. 
I hope I made you happy these last few months. You thanked me & apologized over & over but that wasn’t necessary! You’re my dad & I love you always & forever! 
Please have fun in Heaven & watch over all your family & friends! Until we meet again, rest in peace.
