

With great love and appreciation we remember the beautiful life of Alice Ann Hanson. She is survived by many family members and friends but leaves none behind as her passion and character have made her a part of everyone she knew. She will be greatly missed.
Alice was born in Casper Wyoming, January 30, 1957. Her family moved to Nederland Colorado, where she resided through high school. She was married to Eric Hanson from 1979 to 1987. Alice had a great love of horses and nature. She believed in the principle of “Leave No Trace”, the value and importance of taking a personal role in preserving nature. With a great love of numbers, Alice enjoyed a successful banking career at both Affiliated First National Bank in Boulder and Peak National Bank in Golden. Her discipline and strength were matched only by her capacity for love and understanding. No matter what life presented her with she never lost sight of the love in her heart
Alice was preceded in death by her mother Celeste Haselwood in 2002. She is survived by her loving son, Cole Hanson of Golden, Father, James T. Haselwood of Longmont. She is also survived by her sister Jane and Randy Mauro, their four daughters, Angie and Robert White, Kristin and Kyle Turner, Laura Mauro and husband Steve Johnson, and Randi Jayne Mauro, Her brother Tom and Cheryl Haselwood live in Winter Garden Florida with their daughter Sarah Haselwood.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Unity of Boulder, 2855 Folsom St, Boulder.
