Lois Marie Simpson

Lois attended Catholic Elementary School, Westminster Junior High School and North High.

She is survived by two children Jim Dugger and Flo Geiser and was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Gann.

Lois is survived by her three sisters Dorothy Hinkle, Ellen Boehler, and Shirley Ritthaler

She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Crystal, Amber, Robin, Alicia, Christopher, Brittney, and Kimberly. In addition she leaves five great grandchildren: Isiah, Lawrence, Gabbi, Gage and Andy.

Lois Loved country music and dancing. Getting together for family reunions, and she loved to eat especially at Red Lobster with family. Her other interests included embroidering and bowling. She was also an active participant in the Umbrella Marching Drill team for 5 yrs. They participated in many events which also included the Buffalo Bills Days.

She worked part time at Sears and then went on to work at Coors as a fork lift driver and drove the shuttle van. She worked all different shifts, and was not afraid of hard work. She was with Coors for 21 years.

During her years working at Coors she also worked part-time at Arby's so she could make ends meet with raising her children at that time by herself. Lois retired in 2002.

A funeral service will be held at Olinger Woods Chapel, 1100 Washington Avenue, Golden, CO on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 1:00pm.
