Mark Iwan

Mr. Mark Iwan, 53, of Golden, CO passed peacefully early Saturday morning, March 19, 2011. He was surrounded by the love of his family. Mr. Iwan is survived by his wife Kristen, sons Matthew & Austin, daughters Alina & Mikayla and siblings Larry, Lee & Tom. Mr. Iwan valiantly battled the rare brain disease OPCA for many years.

Mark Iwan had a distinguished career with Arthur Andersen, LLP working for Chicago WHQ then as Managing Patner for Warsaw, Poland and Denver, CO offices. Mark was an avid adventurer excelling as a distance runner and mountain climber Known for his incisive intelligence and quick wit, Mark Iwan will be missed by all who came to know him.

A mass will be held 10:00 am on March 23 at the Mother Cabrini Chapel in Golden, CO. A lunch will follow at Mt. Vernon Country Club. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Albany research Institute, 113 Holland Ave., Albany, NY 12208 in Mark's name would be appreciated.
