Agnes Schexnayder

Agnes Breaux Schexnayder a Life-long resident of Gonzales, La. passed away on Friday, Jan 20, 2023 at the age of 86. She is survived by 2 daughters, Ann Simon (Calvin), and Cheryl Babin (Rick); 2 sons, Perry Schexnayder Jr. (Kathy) and Scott Schexnayder (Linda); brother, Thomas “Tom” Breaux (Leila); sister-in-law, Joyce Breaux and Rose Mae Schexnayder; grandchildren, Jeremy Simon (Toni), Erin Rodrigue (Peter), Alicia Jumonville (Jeremy), Lance Babin (Kelly), Evan Schexnayder and Dylan Schexnayder; great grandchildren, Charley, Berklee, Baylor, Reid and Rylan and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Schexnayder Sr.; parents, Alvin Breaux Sr. and Hattie Henry Breaux; brothers, A.J. Breaux, Charles “Black” Breaux, and James Ponkin” Breaux. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 9 am until mass of christian burial at 11 am at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1022 N Burnside Ave, Gonzales, La. She will be laid to rest in St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Cemetery. Much appreciation to Lady of the Lake Ascension and Old Jefferson Community Care Center. A special thanks to her weekly coffee group, who were good to the last drop.
