Alanna Chere Singleton, a resident of Zachary, La passed away on Sunday, Aug 3, 2025. She was 54 years old. She is survived by her 2 sons, Travis Singleton Jr. (Christian) and Dylan Singleton (Haylie); grandchildren, Aurie, Davyn, Audyn, Lenny and Otto Singleton; sisters, Linda Creel (Mark), Genie Hoover (Doug), Kathy Ward (Chris), and Mi Mi Rispone (Vince); brother, Robert Perry (Paige); and father and mother-in-law, Richard and Odrie Singleton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Singleton Sr.; father, Alfred Perry Jr. and mother, Helen Johnson Perry. She will be remembered for her generous heart, nurturing spirit, boundless creativity, and unwavering strength. Alanna had a remarkable gift for making everyone she encountered feel valued, seen, and loved. She cherished every moment with her family, and nothing brought her greater joy than being a mother. She took immense pride in her children and was a constant presence in their lives—always the first to volunteer at school and community events, cheering them on in every endeavor. Alanna found beauty and joy in life’s simple pleasures: peaceful days on the water, the satisfaction of a well-tended home, and the creative expression of her crafts. Guided by her deep faith and her steadfast devotion to family, she lived each day with love, integrity, and generosity. Her warmth, wisdom, and presence will be profoundly missed by all whose lives she touched.
Memorial services for Chere will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Ourso Funeral Home 13533 Airline Hwy Gonzales, La 70737. Visiting will be from 9 am until the service at 12 pm. She will be laid to rest at Gateway Gardens Memorial Park 29245 S Magnolia St, Livingston, LA 70754.
