Alexander John LeBoeuf, a resident of Baton Rouge, died Christmas Eve in a tragic automobile accident at age 24. Born March 12, 1987, Alex was a native of Gonzales, and worked as a nitrogen technician at Praxair Services Inc., Gonzales. Alex loved spending time with his family and friends, including his best friends, Kyle Baker and Robbie Leumas. This love came second only to the first and foremost love of his life, his wife, Stephanie, whom he adored. He enjoyed animals, always rescuing those in need, and served as a foster parent for Cat Haven in Baton Rouge. Of his four pets, Jackson, a Maltese, was his favorite and was taken with him everywhere he went. Alex displayed a strong desire to keep those around him happy and used his good humor to do so every chance he had. It was always his goal to make everyone around him smile. As an avid performance car enthusiast, he loved working on his, and anyone else's, car that needed help. A true Disney admirer, he made several trips to Disneyworld and was very proud of his memorabilia collection. He attended St. Theresa of Avila School in Gonzales and graduated from Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, where he was a member of the school band and was voted MVP of the Bowling Team. He was a member of The Boy Scouts of America, Pack and Troop 65 in Gonzales. A loving husband, son, and big brother, he had a smile that would melt anyone's heart and will be missed by every life he touched. He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie Nicole LeBlanc LeBoeuf; parents, Robert and Jane LeBoeuf, of Gonzales; and little sister, Mary Elizabeth LeBoeuf. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William P. LeBoeuf Sr. and Vivian Prejean LeBoeuf; and maternal grandparents, Ray Allen Keating Sr. and Lucy Mae St. Germain Keating. Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Wednesday, Dec. 28, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Thursday, Dec. 29, from 8 a.m. until 9:30 am, at which time family and friends will go in procession to St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., with Rev. Gary Belsome, celebrant. Entombment at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Mausoleum, Gonzales. Because of Alex's love for animals, it is requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Cat Haven in Baton Rouge, at www.cathaven.org.
