

Alexis “Lexi” Marie Molliere, age 14, of Gonzales, LA passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017. Alexis was born July 22, 2003 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is survived by her parents, Joseph “Joey” Molliere, Jr. and Wendy Dupuy Molliere; sisters, Carley and Natalee Molliere; brother, Nathan Anstatt; maternal grandmother, Mary Jane “Sis” Dupuy; paternal grandparents, Joesph “Hank” Molliere Sr. and Janice Molliere; godparents, Charlie Duplessis and Donna Thomassie and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Leroy Dupuy; great-grandparents Lewis C. All, Sr. and Agnes All, Robert and Bertha Molliere; Joseph “Rip” and Bertha Duplessis. Lexi was a member of Danse Difference Studio for 8 years and a 3 year member of St. Amant Middle School Dance Team. Dance was her passion and being with her friends was one of her favorite things to do. When we remember Lexi we will be reminded of her two favorite sayings, “God Had a Plan” and “Heart Has No Limit”. Lexi continues to help and save others by being an organ donor. She will be missed by all who knew her. A visitation will be held in Ourso Funeral Home chapel on Thursday September 7, 2017. Immediate family will visit from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm and extended family and friends may visit from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday morning at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, from 9:00 am until the Service begins at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Mausoleum. Pallbearers will include Charlie Duplessis, Mark Hayes, Jared Fonte, Barry and Teddy Dupuy, Stevie Mahaffey, and Clinton Broussard. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the awesome staff in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of OLOL for taking care of their Princess.
