Angella Eva Dupre

Angella Eva Dupre, a cherished resident of Prairieville, LA, passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on November 13, 1947, Angella grew up in Napoleonville before later making her home in Prairieville. Angella was a devoted mother to her children, Glenn Dupre Jr., Veronica Dupre Burns, and Christophor Dupre. She was a beloved sister to Mary Ann Calvaruso, Mary Lee Ward, and Sherry Brewer. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Haley Burns, London Burns Fife, Abbie Dupre Hambrick, Brittany Cook, Destinee Dupre, Cole Dupre and Connlee Dupre. Angella was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Landon Ledet, Kyson Ginn, Journey Martinez, Halsey Turner, and Reese Roussel.

Ms. Dupre was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Dupre Sr.; parents, Mattingly and Elsie Rodrigue; brother, Jessie Rodrigue; sister, Ethel Mae Rodrigue; and grandchild, Cayden Dupre.

Angella had a deep love for her grandkids and enjoyed listening to music, dancing, gardening, crocheting, bird watching, and shopping. Her vibrant spirit and passion for life touched everyone who knew her.

A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, located at 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, Louisiana, on January 17, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 am at the same venue. Angella will be laid to rest at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Mausoleum, located at 37577 Duplessis Rd., Prairieville.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
