Anthony Joseph Garlepied passed away on Saturday, October 9th, 2021 at the young age of 32. Although his time here with us was cut short, Anthony lived a more fulfilling life than many ever get to experience. He has been a lifelong resident of St. Amant, LA. He graduated from St. Amant High in 2007 and would go on to become a successful business owner and entrepreneur. He always had determination in his heart and he worked hard for everything. Anthony was a family man who loved spending time with family and friends. Anthony always enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was working on a project at the shop or out in the boat. He worked hard and played harder.
His love for his family was undeniable. Anthony was the best son you could ask for, the most dependable big brother there was and the proudest uncle around town. His strong willed, caring, fun-loving personality will be sorely missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his parents Ronnie and Kim Garlepied, his sister Lauren Plauche and her husband Task, his two nephews Parker and Wes Plauche, his grandparents Kenny and Patsy Gonzales, Janice Moritz and Ricky Hebert, and his significant other Raegan Benefield. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, we believe Anthony would like you to donate to the Restore Grand Isle Recovery Fund at townofgrandisle.com.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Anthony’s Life on Wednesday, October 13th, 2021 at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales. Visitation will begin at 5PM with a service starting at 7PM.
