We are saddened to share the passing of Barbara on the early morning of Tuesday, June 18, 2024. She had recently turned 80 years old.
She worked at A&P’s main office in New Orleans and later as a florist in Baton Rouge. She was an owner of St. Joseph Books & Gifts in Gonzales until retirement.
Barbara is survived by her husband George of 44 years, her daughter Shannon, her son Greg and her deceased son Joey. Also survived by brothers Mike Dow and Jeff Dow (Jenny). She is preceded in death by her father and mother Stanley & Thyra Dow.
A visitation for Barbara will be held Monday, June 24, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Theresa Of Avila Catholic Church, 1022 N Burnside Ave, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM.
