Bart Francis Todd

John 3:16 – God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him may not perish but may have eternal life. Bart Francis Todd, 47 passed away on August 7, 2016. He was born in Baton Rouge on December 17, 1968 and resided in Prairieville. Bart was a 1987 graduate of Tara High School and attended LSU. He loved his job and work family at Mosaic. He also loved to ride motorcycles. He is survived by his wife Shelly Diez Todd; daughters, Mia Faye Todd and Sydney Faythe Todd; mother, Shirley Todd; sister, Dana Todd Lux and husband Sandy; nephews, Joshua Lesley, Caleb Todd and Turner Lux, IV, Andre Ferguson, Kyle Allen; niece, Christian Diez; mother-in-law, Jewel Diez, sister-in-law, Alice Allen; brother-in-law, Sonnijo Diez and family cats Tilly and Maggie. He is preceded in death by his father, Danny Todd and father-in-law, Sidney Diez, Jr. Pallbearers will be Joshua Lesley, Turner Lux, IV, Andre Ferguson, Roosevelt Hampton, Randy Allen and Dr. John Knapp. Caleb Todd will serve as honorary pallbearer. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Ourso Funeral Home at 13533 Airline Highway in Gonzales from 5PM – 8PM and on Saturday August 13, 2016 from 9AM until services begin at 11AM, also at Ourso Funeral Home. The celebrant will be Pastor Terry Lobell with Dr. T.C. French, Jr. as the co-celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
