

Benjamin “Benny” Miles passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the age of 53. He was born on May 6, 1972, in Baton Rouge and was a native of Galvez, a graduate of St. Amant High School, and a resident of Darrow, Louisiana.
Benny was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Catherine “Caullie” Miles, and a proud father to his children, Zachary, Michael, and Andrew.
Benny enjoyed fishing, listening to music, LSU sports, and traveling the world. He loved experiencing different cultures and trying new foods while visiting other countries. One of Benny’s greatest gifts was his sense of humor—his ability to make friends and family laugh was unmatched. Whether on the water with a fishing rod in hand or cheering on LSU, Benny lived life with joy, laughter, and a spirit that will never be forgotten. His laughter, love of life, and adventurous spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.
Benny is survived by his parents, Douglas and Suzanne Miles; mother-in-law, Catherine “Casey” Aaron; his sister-in-law, Sarah Aguilera (Michael); and his four younger siblings, Brandon Miles (Kristen), Jeffrey Miles, Bonnie O’Daniel (Shane), and Toni Logarbo (Jesse). He also leaves behind his beloved nephews, Caden, Toby, Weston, Reid, Jesse, and Jack; his nieces, Bentley, Bradey, and Kara; as well as his extended family in Texas who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Irving and Lena Brocato.
Friends and family who loved Benny are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Highway, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737. The visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the service starting at 11:00 a.m. Benny will be laid to rest at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Baton Rouge, LA.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Miles, Michael Dossett, Andrew Aaron, Jeff Miles, Caden Miles, Jesse Logarbo, and Shane O’Daniel. Brandon Miles will serve as honorary pallbearer.
