

Died Wednesday, September 21st, at Gonzales Healthcare Center. She was 84 and a native of Gonzales. Visiting will be at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church Friday, September 23rd from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00. Burial will follow at Hope Haven Mausoleum, Gonzales, with graveside services.
Survived by her four sons and three daughters-in-law, Calvin J. Jr. (Joey) and Audrey Ducote Boudreaux, Kirk James and Melanie Espey Boudreaux, Don Matthew and Bridget Bourgeois Boudreaux, and Ted Michael Boudreaux and friend, Eva, all of Gonzales; a sister Delores Babin Savoy (Fred), a brother Ralph Babin (Fay), ten grandchildren, Morgan Thibodeaux (Adam), Jada Flurry (Kris), Todd Balfantz (Kristie), Chet (Alana), Eric (Alyson), Seth, Tate (Amanda), Joel, Mason and Marisa Boudreaux; and 10 great-grandchildren, Dane and Ian Balfantz, Will, Wes, Keegan and Khai Boudreaux, Cohen and Nate Thibodaux, Kirsten Gautreau and Bec Guidry. Preceded in death by husband, Calvin J. “Codee” Boudreaux, Sr. and parents, Pellum and Mildred Alexander Babin.
Pallbearers are the grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are Blaise Babin and Robert Walker Jr. She was a member of St. Theresa of Avila Church.
Betty was an avid reader of novels, and affectionately known too many as “Betty Boo”.
