Billy J. Brown Sr.

Billy was united in marriage to the love of his life, Vickie Waguespack Brown, on September 25, 1976. Together they built a life centered around family, love, and lasting memories. Billy worked as a truck driver for Turner Industries for many years, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.

He had a deep love for his family and especially cherished spending time with his grandchildren. Billy also enjoyed hunting and the simple pleasures of life surrounded by those he loved most.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vickie Waguespack Brown; his children, Billy Jr. (Julie), Lucas (Dixie), and Adam (Whitney) ; his beloved grandchildren, Jade, Morgan, Ryleigh, Kayleigh, Jett and Grey; his sisters, Delois Hodges, Judy Credeur, and Wilma Thomas; his brother, George Brown; his father-in-law, Clyde Waguespack Sr.; his sister-in-law, Trudy Guedry; and his brothers-in-law, Clyde Waguespack Jr., Neal Waguespack, and Gussie Bourgeois.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Rollie Brown Sr. and Mavis Brown; his brothers, Rollie Brown Jr., James Brown Sr., Percy Brown Sr., and John Brown; his sister, Becky Brown; his mother-in-law, Doris Waguespack; and his sister-in-law, Monica Bourgeois.

A celebration of Billy’s life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, LA, 70737.
