Bonnie Mae Johnson

A native of Tennessee and resident of Gonzales, Bonnie Johnson passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the age of 80. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Chryle Ann Johnson Clebert and Ed, Vickie Lynn Johnson Duplessis and Burt; sons and daughters-in-law, John Burrows Johnson Jr. and Donna, Clifford Allen Johnson Sr. and Charla, Kenneth Eugene Johnson and Debbie; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Donna Wescott; sisters-in-law, Marcia Johnson, Nancy Johnson Noss; brother-in-law, Glenn Noss; grandchildren, Brad Paul Duplessis and wife Sarah, Talmage Michael Duplessis, Ashley Michelle Duplessis, Elizabeth Ann Johnson and fiancé Nathanael Avara, Megan Leigh Johnson, Hannah Nicole Johnson, Jacob Burrows Johnson, Nina Ann Johnson, Clifford Allen Johnson Jr. “CJ”; and her beloved pet, Buddy. Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband, John B. Johnson Sr.; parents, Minerva and Berney Wescott; sisters, Dorothy Wescott Noe, Jean Wescott Martin, and Sue Wescott Mansel. There will be a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until services at 3:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Greg Jones. A private interment will take place at later date in the Southeastern Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell. Honorary pallbearers are Brad Paul Duplessis, Tag Duplessis, CJ Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Burt Duplessis, Leonard Ciarloni, Glenn Noss, and Ed Clebert.
