Brandt Michael Gil

Brandt Michael Gil passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the age of 21. Although his time here with us was entirely too short, we will cherish the memories we have made. He is survived by his mother DeShea Bordelon (Foster), his father Fabian Gil, his brother Brayden Gil and half-brother Fabian Michael Gil (Brittany). He is also survived by his grandma Ramona Gil and his aunts and uncles; Glenn Simoneaux, Chris Simoneaux (Nobuko), Tessie Jefcoat (Allen), Ed Gil (Kim), Alex Gil (Ana), Javier Gil, Bertha Daigle (Ricky) and Mario Gil (Nicole) and numerous cousins, family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Henry & Gloria Simoneaux and his grandpa Gustavo Gil.

If you knew Brandt you knew he was always smiling and putting on his special charm for everybody around him. He was very outgoing and always making new friends. He enjoyed working out and making sure he always looked his best. Brandt loved listening to music. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Brandt’s Life on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy. Gonzales, LA 70737. A visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM. Brandt will be laid to rest at Hope Haven Garden of Memory in Gonzales. Those serving as pallbearers will be Fabian Gil, Brayden Gil, Thomas Andrews, Daniel Andrews, Harrison Cashio, Carlos Cashio, Corey Simoneaux and Christopher Simoneaux.
