It is with broken hearts that we announce our beautiful Brianah “Bri” Blount, 34, went home to be with our Savior on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Bri fought an immense and courageous battle with mental illness. Though her body and mind became too tired to carry on, her soul is now at peace, whole and free.
Bri was a radiant, free spirit whose love knew no bounds. She cherished her family and friends fiercely, and above all, she loved God. Her Bible was never far from her side, and neither was her faith. Fearless in nature, Bri lived life with boldness and heart. She stood strong in defense of those she loved—even when that fight was against herself. Though her battle ended, her true self—the one full of light, laughter, and love—is the version her family and friends choose to remember. That version was perfect, and it’s the one they will carry in their hearts forever. Bri leaves behind her beloved son, Aiden Alba; her fiancé, John Ballard; her father, Jody Blount and his fiancé, Kayla McDonald; and her loving stepmother, Vicki Blount. She is also survived by her grandmothers, Dianne Ratcliff and Janet Clayton; siblings, Mirinda Hooker, Cody Blount, Savanna Crane, Caleb Blount, Cade Blount, and Chris Amedee; her cherished aunt Lori “Ninny” Payne and her “special” uncle Johnny Ratcliff; and her treasured niece and nephews, Dane Braud Jr., Tyson Braud, Carson Hooker, and Emery Blount. Bri also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members whom she loved deeply. She was welcomed into eternal rest by her beautiful mother, Tandy Crane; her grandfathers, Paw Paw Marwin Ratcliff, Paw Paw Ronnie Blount, and Paw Paw Gene Crane.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Colyell Baptist Church, 19524 Hwy 42, Livingston, LA 70754. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, with services starting at 11:00 AM.
Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that Bri is now resting in perfect peace. She will be missed beyond words and loved beyond measure.
