Carolyn White Cicero, 78, a native of West Memphis, Arkansas, and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 24, 2025. A devoted wife, wonderful mother, incredible grandmother, sister, and friend, Carolyn dedicated her life to her family, who were the center of her world—especially her beloved grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and unmistakable sense of humor brought joy to everyone who knew her. She had never met a stranger. Carolyn was an avid traveler, always eager to explore new places and create lasting memories with those she loved. She lived with great spirit and generosity, and her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” White and Ima Lee White. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Samuel R. "Bob" Cicero; her children, Evan Tran and Seth Duhy; son-in-law, Dr. Quan Tran; her grandchildren, Ari Tran (10), Mathis Tran (9), and Lucy Tran (5); her siblings, Judge Laurie White and her husband Thom Wilson, David White and his children, William and Katie White; Betty Robert and her husband, Shelby; Fred and Beth Elliott, Jeff and Linda Scoggins, and Stephanie Scoggins, her beloved cousins; her ex-husband, Frederick Duhy Jr. and her “wife-in-law” Janet Duhy, two of her very best friends. Also, honorable family members Michael and Carrie LeJeune. She left behind her best friends, “The Heifers”, whom she loved and cherished always. The family extends special thanks to the compassionate staff at The Parc Senior Home for their loving care and support. A Celebration of Carolyn’s Life will be held at a later date. Please visit www.oursofh.com for updated service information. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness in Carolyn’s memory. As she always said “Pay it Forward”. We will miss you forever, Mom.
