Cayson Ryan Ducote

Loving son, grandson and brother who loved to help everyone, and loved the outdoors, he died tragically at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2011. He was 3 years old and a resident of Gonzales. Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 12, at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 13, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Religious services will be conducted by Brother Ray Johnson in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Faithful United Methodist Cemetery, St. Amant. Cayson is survived by his mother, Lindsey Michelle Oubre; Kelly Chase Saucier who was like a father; sister, Kylie Alyse Saucier; maternal grandparents, Stanley and Melissa Oubre and Lawanna Templet Robinson; paternal grandparents, Stewart and Dana Braud and Randy Ducote; brother, Brayden Charles Lessard; and a host of other loving family. He was preceded in death by his father, Ryan "Petey" Ducote. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cayson Ducote fund at UCB Bank.
