Celine "Sal” (Madere) LaCaze

Celine like to gamble, play cards, pokeno, and cook. She took many trips to Las Vegas by automobile and even flew once, but said never again.

She is survived by her daughter; Jeanne Raiford (Tim); sons John LaCaze, Jr. (Lynette); Donald LaCaze; her brothers Lawrence Madere (Mary); Richard Madere (Gloria); sister-in-law Lena Mae Madere; grandchildren; Donald LaCaze, Jr; Angela Schilling (Steven); Brian Raiford (Erin); Alicia Williamson (Brian); Trish Dragna (Larry); Kayla Bueche (Kyle); 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. LaCaze, Sr.; parents, Maurice and Louise (Webre) Madere, Sr; Alice Tortorich (Joseph); brothers, Maurice Madere, Jr.; James Madere, Sr.; grandson Timmy Raiford, Jr.; niece Barbara Schroder; great-grandson, Logan Michael Dragna.

Familiy and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm followed by visitation at St. Mark Catholic Church, Gonzales on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 9:00 am until time for funeral mass at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Destrehan.
