Cline Gabriel Braud

Cline Gabriel Braud, a native and a resident of Prairieville, LA, passed away on his 72nd birthday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA after a sudden cerebral hemorrhage associated with melanoma cancer. He was an Army Veteran, devout Catholic and member of the St. Theresa Knights of Columbus Council #2657. He enjoyed dancing, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He was an Advanced Analyzer Technician for Yokogawa Corp. of America and was well respected worldwide for his expertise in analyzer troubleshooting. He is survived by his loving wife of two years Gail Amedee Braud. Three sons and daughters-in-law, Chet and Sheila Savoy Braud, of St. Amant; Coby and Channa Gilmore Braud, of Prairieville, and Cade and Mary Palacios Braud of Orlando, FL. Three stepchildren and spouses, Kim Braud and Tony Bourgeois of Prairieville; Kevin Braud of Gonzales, and Keisha Braud and Charles ""Spanky"" Sullivan of Gonzales. One brother and sister-in-law, Calvin and Rosa Savoy Braud of Prairieville. Thirteen grandchildren, Jessica, Savannah, Micale and Delaney Braud, April Granier, Lindsay and Kayla Edelmann, Emily and Claire Bourgeois, Zachary Braud, C. J. , Ashlee and Jesse Sullivan. Two great-grandchildren, Lai Lah and Leland Granier along with many other loving relatives. Cline was preceded in death by his first wife Yvonne Leblanc Braud, parents, Paris A. and Gracie M. Braud and one son, Clint Michael Braud. Visitation will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Church in Prairieville, LA on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. celebrated by Rev. Eric Gyan. Burial will follow at the Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery, Gonzales, LA . Pallbearers will be Kevin Braud, Tony Bourgeois, Ben Hicks, Terry Millien, George Price, and Charles ""Spanky"" Sullivan.
