Coleen Anne Pilley, 73, went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2024 surrounded by family. She selflessly devoted her life to others, with her greatest joy being her beloved grandchildren. She loved to travel and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her can attest that she lived every single day to the fullest. There was never a time that she was not helping others, both in her career and personal life. A fiercely independent woman, when she wasn’t helping others, she could be found in her favorite place, her garden. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her, especially her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Meghan Yerby (Todd), grandchildren, Brennan and Allyson; her Godchild, whom she adored, Chase Hutcherson (Brandi) and sons, Colin and Holden; siblings, John Christopher Pilley, Eileen Bossier, David Pilley, Erin Pilley, Kevin Pilley (Nicole), as well as numerous family and friends who were much loved. She is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Margaret Pilley, as well as the love of her life, Charles Perrodin. Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in French Settlement on Friday, July 5, 2024 beginning at 9:30 a.m., followed Mass at 11:30 a.m. Those serving as Pallbearers will be Brennan Yerby, Chase Hutcherson, Colin Hutcherson, Kevin Pilley, Toby Pilley, and Taylor Pilley. Those serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Holley and Holden Hutcherson. Special thanks to Katie Davis, Brittani Johnson, and all other staff at Audubon Hospice for their compassionate care.
