

CURTIS CHARLES LANGLOIS A resident of Gonzales, LA, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013. He was 62 and of the Catholic faith. Born April 15, 1950, in Baton Rouge; the son of Alvin Joseph Langlois and Lela LeBlanc Langlois. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn Bruno Aldridge Langlois for 26 years and devoted father to Jason Bruno Aldridge and wife Leah and Jennifer Elizabeth Aldridge. He was a loving brother to two sisters, a brother and their families, Theresa LeBlanc and husband Clifton, Diette Frederic and husband Glenn and James Bryce Langlois and wife Carrol. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Halli Catherine and Hayden Parker Aldridge. After graduating from East Ascension High School with athletic awards, he attended Southeastern Louisiana University and graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Over the years he belonged to various civic organizations: Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club, Gonzales Little Theater and Ascension Community Theater. He enjoyed performing, singing and serving on the board of the theaters for many years. Being an alumnus of St. Theresa School, he enjoyed coaching football for nine years. His accounting career spanned 30 plus years with several companies including; M Latuso CPA, N L Baroid, Langlois Accounting, Airtech,UIR, Hydro-chill and M-I Drilling Fluids. His dancing prowess was well known as was his enthusiasm for the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. He will be affectionately remembered by all who knew him and worked with him for his compasison, honor, and sense of humor. Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Visiting will resume at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Gonzales, on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Cremation will follow services.
