Dewell David Summerville, Sr.

Dewell David Summerville Sr. passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at The Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. Born March 20, 1958 Arkansas, he was the son of Dewell Duane and Elaine Jeffress Summerville. He was 56. David was a long-time employee of the Foxboro Company and had worked many years in the chemical industry. He was an avid outdoorsman, a loving husband, father, brother and son, and losing him is a great loss to his family. He is preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Alford Summerville of Prairieville, LA; a son, Beau Summerville, of Longview, TX; a daughter, Katie Summerville of St. Amant, LA; a brother, Terry Summerville of French Settlement, LA; sisters, Eadle Summerville Aldridge and husband Gregory of Gonzales, LA, Angie Summerville Bourgeois of Prairieville, LA; father, Dewell Duane Summerville of Prairieville, LA; three grandsons, Jeremiah Miller of Prairieville, LA, David Layne Summerville and Jacob Summerville of Skiatook, OK; granddaughter, Kaylee Fayee Wilson of Shreveport, LA; three nieces; and five nephews. There will be a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales, LA, Saturday, July 19 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until services at 12:00 pm. with Rev. Michael Jeffress officiating. Interment will be in Hope Haven Garden of Memory in Gonzales, LA. Pallbearers will be Andy Paul Aldridge, Richard Aldridge, Gregory Aldridge, Benny Kyle Delaune, Tony Italiano, Bill Teoford. Honorary pallbearer will be Austin Abadie.
