Eathern "Doug" Douglas Martin

Eathern Douglas Martin, known as Doug, moved to heaven on Sept 21, 2021, where he received a new body and a set of wings. He is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Birdie Martin and brother, Delbert Martin and wife Renee. He was preceded in death by 2 infant brothers; grandparents, Eathern and Addie Martin and John and Cleo “Honey” Gayle and companion Shirley Greenlee. Doug loved his family and his many friends. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and watching football. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept 25, 2021 at Colyell Baptist Church 19524 Hwy 42 Livingston, La, from 9 am until service at 1 pm with burial at Colyell Community Cemetery. Conducted by Bro. Steve Arledge, Bro Daniel Martin and Bro Jeremy Glascock. Pallbearers will be Purvis Wheat, Barry Wheat, Brandon Martin, Donnie Martin Jr., Ricky Taylor and Jody Blount and honorary Pallbearer being Nicholas Sibley.
